Changelog

1.6 – HP consumers page

  • A new HP consumers page lists the condensers, water heat exchangers and hot gas cassettes, each with its own node, name and capacity. On a booster, the condensers are called gas coolers.
  • An installation can have more than one condenser or gas cooler battery, and the discharge flow splits between them. On a drydx with more than one condenser, set the liquid line's start node on the installation configuration page.
  • When every condenser has a capacity, the calculation sizes the high-pressure lines on those capacities. The pipe system overview warns when their total differs from the calculated heat rejection by more than the tolerance in your calculation settings.
  • The consumer tables have a type column, evaporator or cabinet. The consumers xlsx import and export include it.
  • The condenser node is no longer on the installation configuration page or in your defaults. You set it on the HP consumers page.

1.5 – Calculation settings per installation

  • Every installation keeps its own calculation settings. Changing your defaults no longer changes the results of existing installations; the defaults apply to new installations.
  • An installation's settings are changed where they are used: selection criteria and new-row delivery and insulation on each pipeline page, the diameter series on material selection, fittings and oil traps on the installation configuration.
  • A setting that differs from your defaults is marked as custom, and can be reset to your defaults or saved as your new default, one section at a time or all at once.

1.4 – Follow line and line totals

  • Follow line asks before it overwrites the target line, and can join doubled lines and keep the insulation, delivery and diameter of matching rows.
  • The overview has a line totals table: the highest pressure drop, temperature drop and velocity of each line, its charge, and the installation's total pipe charge.
  • Either diameters table exports as that table or as a pipe network overview, with the low-pressure and high-pressure lines on their own tabs.
  • The consumers page exports every consumer at once, one tab per consumer type.
  • Every number field shows and saves the same number of decimals.
  • Buttons use one verb per action, and every modal has the same width.

1.3 – Greyed-out fields and clearer error pages

  • Fields that depend on another setting, and buttons that can't be used yet, are shown greyed out instead of hidden.
  • The diameter increment can be switched off without losing its values.
  • Clear pages for a location or installation that doesn't exist, a page you have no access to, and a server that can't be reached, with a Retry button.
  • PDF reports carry the app name, logo and version on every page, and the line name repeats on each page.
  • The app runs full width, the dark theme has calmer colours, and long modals keep their title and buttons on screen.
  • Recalculating after a small edit is faster.

1.2 – PDF exports and a new layout

  • Every export is available as PDF as well as xlsx, from an export window where you choose the content and the format.
  • All pipelines export to one xlsx file with a combined calculation basis tab.
  • Sizing shows the results of every operating case, and can size on all cases at once.
  • A new layout with a floating navigation bar, and a Light, Dark or System theme.
  • The admin page is one table of accounts, searchable by status.

1.1 – Stored results and account approval

  • Results are kept with each line. When the inputs change, the results are greyed out until the line is calculated again.
  • The consumers overview is built from the stored results, without recalculating.
  • New accounts wait for approval, and you get an email when your account's status changes.
  • You can delete your own account. Admins can approve accounts, revoke access and reset passwords.
  • The app is fully available in Dutch.
  • A page you have no access to names the missing module and lets you request it.

1.0 – First release

  • First release: size the refrigerant lines of dry-expansion and CO2 booster installations, with pressure drop, temperature drop, velocity and charge per segment.
  • Several operating cases per installation, each with its own conditions, and a choice of which cases the diameters are sized on.
  • Fitting losses and oil traps on gas risers are included in the pressure drop.
  • Warnings for flash gas, discharge temperature, inlet superheat and too low a velocity in gas risers.
  • Refrigerants CO2, R134a, R404A, R407F, R513A and R290.
  • Pipelines export to xlsx with the calculated columns and a calculation basis tab, and import back.
